Gabriela Danuta Karwat is a multimedia artist located in Jacksonville, Florida. Her works are explorations of the human experience highlighting sentiments personal to her life & various wildlife. She incorporates film & digital photography, oil painting, charcoal drawing, and multimedia collage into her bodies of work. Her latest body of work is exploring various stages of grief and her personal ties towards this topic. Karwat’s works have been highlighted in the University of North Florida Gallery of Art, the University of North Florida Thomas G. Carpenter Library, and Untitled Art Space. She is soon to be graduating from the University of North Florida with a Bachelors in Fine Arts.
